With the much-anticipated return of major events, the Gulf Coast is brimming with exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy. We feel pretty lucky to be home to some of the best pilots around and that we get to see them practice in our backyard. The world-famous Blue Angels are based at NAS Pensacola and can often be seen practicing in the local area just off the coast. Here is the Blue Angels 2021 practice schedule:
Magic and Entertainment at OWA, Various Dates
With more than 20 amusement park rides, competitive games and treats like fresh popcorn and hand-spun cotton candy, there’s excitement at every turn at OWA. If you’re looking for something extra fun, check out the impressive magic and performance shows from Brandon Styles, scheduled regularly through the end of the year.
Celebrate Fourth of July, the Flora-Bama Way, July 4
The Flora-Bama, located in Orange Beach, has long been a landmark of the Gulf Shores community providing live entertainment every day of the year. As home to the iconic Bushwacker, the Flora-Bama has five stages for live music and several beach-front bars. Known for putting on a great party, Flora-Bama’s All American Bar-B-Q Party celebrates our Nation’s birthday with tasty Bar-B-Q, the annual Freedom Run live music, fireworks and more!
Pensacola Beach Blue Angels Air Show, July 9-10

Blue Marlin Grand Championship of the Gulf, July 14-18
For one of the biggest sport fishing events in the country, head to The Wharf to enjoy the Blue Marlin Grand Championship. You’ll see teams enter into a tournament with fierce competition. While you enjoy the show, check out the great shopping, dining and entertainment options at The Wharf.
