The secret is getting out. Perdido Key is one of the most charming towns you should visit in America. Our small beachside community is getting more national exposure, thanks to that designation recently published by O, The Oprah Magazine. Earlier this month, the magazine named Perdido Key one of its “60 charming American towns you haven’t heard of but should visit ASAP.” And Perdido Key is 13th on the list!
The article highlights towns that aren’t as well known and showcases what they have to offer. It also encourages readers to hit the road-less-traveled and visit these small charming towns.
Here is what the article says about Perdido Key:
“In this town, you can skip the touristy parts of the state and relax by the (much less crowded) beach. With fishing, boating, snorkeling, multiple golf courses, and more, there's a little something for everyone.”
We couldn’t agree more. Perdido Key is a slice of paradise with beautiful beaches, and a plethora of activities to accommodate both an active and laid-back lifestyle. This latest recognition joins other media outlets that have helped put Perdido on the map. In 2015, USA Today named the Gulf Islands National Seashore the “Best Beach in Florida.”
