Big changes are coming to Downtown Pensacola, but the construction won’t ruin any of the fun! While Palafox Street is currently closed for vehicle traffic, all businesses are still open and need your support!
The sidewalks and crosswalks are still open during the construction, so foot traffic is easy and you can still visit all of your favorite shops and restaurants. Even better news, parking is FREE during construction! All of the city parking surrounding Palafox is free just a short walk to the main road. Watching the work happen on Palafox is great entertainment itself, and the construction crew has been making fantastic progress already.
Events such as the Palafox Market and Gallery Night are still occurring during their usual times, with only slight modifications to the layout of the events. Gallery Night now operates on the side streets of Romana, Intendencia, Government, Zaragoza, and parts of Jefferson. All the normal fun is still happening, so you don’t want to miss out!
The businesses on Palafox will heavily rely on your support during the construction, so keep shopping local and visit Downtown Pensacola!
