The fall season is the perfect time to explore the inland possibilities around Eden, if you ever decide to come out of the pool. Here are the four fun things to see and do in nearby Baldwin County, Alabama. They are close, cool, and kid-friendly!

Gator Boardwalk: It started with two friendly alligators with a taste for potato chips. Yes, you read it correctly. Alligators love a free meal. The cold-blooded reptiles also display patience as they wait right under the overpass in Daphne for charitable visitors. The alligator population in Mobile Bay is exploding thanks to conservation efforts. Roughly fifteen alligators inhabit the underside of the overpass (including one ornery 8-foot Bull Gator!)

Fairhope: A Savannah vibe mixes with a uniquely Southern feel on the streets on Fairhope. The walkable village is best taken in at a leisurely pace. History buffs may share a cafe table with starving artists and international visitors alike. It's ok of you're from out of town. Proud locals will gladly show you the around the narrow streets. Grab a late lunch at Dragonfly and take in live jazz on the waterfront. Tip: nobody in Fairhope is in a hurry, so take it easy!

Foley Outlets: Designer Clothes. Discount Prices. Soft serve ice cream. Need I say more? On the way back, stop by Lambert’s for "throwed rolls." (If you don't know what throwed rolls are, find out.) Heads up!

The Wharf: It’s a 10,000 seat concert venue on the beach that features amazing acoustics. Stars are lining up to play here in 2023. Make some memories under the big lights or make it a date night! Check the The Wharf Concert Calendar during your stay at Eden!

These four attractions are all located within 15 miles of the resort. They can be accessed by taking the beach express inland and the rest is up to you!
