On Saturdays, Downtown Pensacola hosts Palafox Market along tree-lined Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza on Palafox near Garden Street, when you can shop among the homegrown, home-made and handcrafted goods of more than 200 local farmers, artisans and craftsmen and women.

One Friday evening each month, Palafox Street is closed to traffic and open to thousands of pedestrians during Gallery Night from 4-9pm, followed by a Gallery Night after-party. All year long, downtown Pensacola is home to art and music festivals, events, gallery showings and gatherings of all types, and a recently-launched ferry service will take you from downtown to Pensacola Beach and the Naval Aviation Museum!
